Several files concern his investigations of Senator Joseph R. McCarthy and Congressman Alvin O'Konski and the articles he wrote on Wisconsin politics for other papers such as the New York Times. Prominent correspondents include August Derleth, Ruben Levin, William Proxmire, and James Wechsler.
