Abstract:

Segments from eight episodes of network television's first early morning program, Today, which aired on NBC beginning in January, 1952. The episodes held in the archives are primarily from the years 1979 and 1980 when Betty Rollin was being tested on the air to fill the position left by Barbara Walters when she exited the show. One of the episodes is from 1987. VBA 792-796 are 3/4" videocassettes in color with sound. All the other videotapes are 1/2" videocassettes in color with sound.
