Abstract:
Correspondence, plans of finance, and other documentation concerning the involvement of the Department of Administration with the Wisconsin Center District's development of its new convention center (now the Midwest Express Center) in downtown Milwaukee. The Department was chiefly involved with financial matters, including bond issuance and revenue flow. The Wisconsin Center District is an independent development corporation based in Milwaukee, which works to encourage and enhance the public development of the city. It owns and operates the U.S. Cellular Arena, the Milwaukee Auditorium, and the Midwest Express Center.
