Abstract: Subject files, 1951-1987, consisting of correspondence, reports, surveys, and hearings relating to the Food Division's responsibility for maintaining standards in the production, processing, and marketing of food, especially dairy products, through inspection, licensing, and related activities. The Food Division of the Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection was also at times responsible for the inspection of weights and measures and the regulation of trade practices which are also reflected in these files, including some created by the Dairy, Food and Trade Division.
