Abstract:

Closed investigations, mainly 1950s and 1960s, of complaints; including reports, correspondence, transcripts of hearings, findings of fact, and news clippings. In addition to files on faith healers, herbalists, naturapaths, and hypnotists there are also materials on individuals who promised to grow hair or cure bedwetting, a file on the dispensing of birth control information, and one on James Quirk of the Greater Milwaukee Committee Against Fluoridation.
