Records of the state agency responsible for administering laws regulating the liquidation or reorganization of banks in financial trouble. Records consist of correspondence, lists of depositors, court records, inventories of assets, and reports of examinations. They are organized in four series: Liquidation Files, 1895-1971; Segregated Trusts, 1932-1971; Closed and Doubtful Banks Correspondence, 1904-1945; and Reorganized Banks, 1932-1945.

The appendix lists temporary six-digit identifier numbers for boxes in Series 1781-1783 sent to the State Records Center. Users should include these numbers when requesting boxes.
