Daily reports for various Wisconsin infantry and cavalry regiments showing, by company, the number of men fit for duty, on special duty, on extra duty, sick, in arrest or confinement, on detached service, with leave and without leave, present and absent, number of horses and alterations since the previous reports. The notes on alterations generally identify soldiers by name. Reports are present for the 1-4th Cavalry, and the 3rd, 6th-8th, 11th, 14th, 20th, 23rd, 25th, 28th-30th, 33rd Infantry regiments. The time coverage varies for each unit.
Except for the records of the 25th Regt. (originally Series 1233), these volumes were described as being from the “R and P Office.”
