Abstract:
Financial data extracted from annual reports of municipal and privately-owned power, water, and telephone utilities, showing distribution of operating income and balance sheet data not included in the published departmental bulletins. The statistics provided for each company include operating expenses, revenues, interest payments, deductions, and net income. The data was compiled each year for the commission use in regulation of securities issues, utility rates, and related functions. For joint utilities, such as water and gas, separate data is also entered for each service.
