Annual reports of electric railways on printed forms containing histories of companies, lists of directors and company officers, income accounts, operating revenues and expenses, power accounts, depreciation, payroll information, cost of plant and equipment, details of construction during current year, investments, and related data. Files also contain related correspondence.

Biography/History

These reports first came to the Railroad Commission. The Transportation Division was formed in 1931, shortly after the Railroad Commission was renamed the Public Service Commission (PSC). The division ceased operation from 1940 to 1954, and most of its functions were carried out by the PSC's Legal and Administration Division.
