Biography/History

Edward Dombrock and his brother, August, owned and operated a brick manufacturing firm in St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, circa 1900-1915.

Scope and Content Note

Three account books showing manufacturing operating expenses and daily business transactions of the brick firm. In addition, each of the three volumes contains expense accounts, ledgers, stock purchased and stock sold record, stock breeding records and similar information for Edward Dombrock's farming operations. Volume 2 contains the most complete record of his farming expenses.

A separate folder of miscellaneous farm inventories includes listings of the number and value of Edward Dombrock's farm land, farm buildings, livestock, machinery, feed, and grain.
