Abstract:
Prints, ephemera, and an 1860 campaign banner relating to the life of Abraham Lincoln, dating 1860 to 1937. Images primarily consist of engravings and lithographs dating to Lincoln's presidency depicting Lincoln as a family man, on his death bed, and as a martyr. The collection also contains images of Lincoln's childhood home in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, as well as photographs and ephemera relating to the Lincoln memorials in Washington, D.C., Chicago, and Springfield, Illinois.
