Abstract:
Tape-recorded and transcribed interviews conducted by Blake McNulty with leaders of the South Carolina civil rights movement, particularly the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. In addition to interviews with Rev. J. H. Hinton, Benjamin Mack, Richard Miles, Hayes Mizell, Rev. I. D. Newman, and Modjeska Simkins, there are also gospel songs and a radio script composed by Blake McNulty.
