Abstract:
Records of a local club formed to promote good fellowship in informal surroundings. In addition to meals, lectures, and entertainment features, the club held an annual Christmas community party, and a Fathers and Sons Day, with the boys and faculty of the Wisconsin Home and Farm School as guests. The club was disbanded in 1956. The collection includes minutes and related materials from regular monthly and executive committee meetings, with a small amount of correspondence, membership lists, and financial papers.

Biography/History

In 1925 the Delafield Men's Club was organized by area men to promote good fellowship in informal surroundings. The Club met monthly from October to May for meals, lectures, and other entertainment. Service projects included Fathers and sons Day in February, with the boys and faculty of the Wisconsin Home and Farm School as guests, and the annual Christmas community party. On April 10, 1956, the membership voted to disband the club.
