Abstract:
Papers of the family of August Krueger documenting the family farm operation in the Town of Emmet, Dodge County, Wisconsin, for four generations; including genealogical information on the Krueger, Goetsch, and Buelke families, extensive correspondence with relatives in the United States and in Germany, farm account books, and other papers. Included is information on the family's emigration from Germany in 1850, letters by Alexander Krueger while attending the University of Wisconsin agriculture short course in 1896-1897; financial accounts kept by August Krueger as treasurer of the Town of Emmet and as director of the Farmers Mutual Insurance Company of Hustisford; and a short history of the Town of Emmet School District No. 7.
