Scope and Content Note

The original manuscripts reproduced on this microfilm were contained in four loose-leaf notebooks. The various items included were written or compiled by different family members at different times, and in places the pages do not appear to follow any logical sequence; in other places pages may be out of order or missing. For the purposes of the microfilm arbitrary volume numbers were assigned in order to distinguish among the notebooks.
