Abstract:
Papers of former Wisconsin Secretary of State Robert C. (“Zim”) Zimmerman, who served from 1957 until his retirement in 1975. The papers consist largely of chronologically arranged scrapbooks assembled by Zimmerman and his wife, Dorothy. Included are clippings, correspondence, memorabilia, and photographs that reflect both his personal life (travel, marriage, golf) and his political life and involvement in Republican politics.
