Abstract:
Photographs, 1890-1966, from the J.H. Findorff & Sons, Inc. construction company (Madison, Wis.), founded in 1890 by John H. Findorff who had previously been a carpenter with J.H. Stark & Company. The photographs include construction sites, equipment, groundbreakings, an aerial panoramic view of Madison, and a mounted photo montage with captions of J.H. Findorff, the mill fire, groups of employees, and the Dow Flour Mill letterhead.
