Abstract:
Documents, images and audio recordings created or collected by Northland College from 1981-1992 to document the ethnic and local history in Northern Wisconsin and portions of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Included are oral history recordings, interview field notes, student papers, slides, negatives, and topical index cards. Also included are community profiles for the Wisconsin cities of Ashland, Bayfield, Mellen, and Washburn and the city of Bessemer in Michigan. Also included are audio recordings of presentations organized by the University Extension, National Humanities Series: Midwestern Center titled "Bicentennial Lectures."
