Abstract:
Letters home from Army Colonel Charles M. Peeke to his wife and children during the Korean War. They contain daily descriptions of life in the army, accounts of battles including the Chinese invasion and U.S. counteroffensive, reflections on the war, and comments on political developments such as cease fire talks and the MacArthur trial. Also present are photographs and transparencies of Col. Peeke and his fellow officers and men, as well as photocopied articles on Col. Peeke's career.
