Abstract:
Papers of Golda Franzen consisting of articles, correspondence, pamphlets, and reports related to her arguments and efforts against adding fluoride to the water supply. Of particular interest is her personal correspondence with Leo Spira (1942-1961), a doctor who researched fluoridation. Also included is the court transcript from a legal suit brought by the state of California against Franzen (1959) for selling a machine advertised to cure cancer.
