Abstract:

Records of a non-profit corporation created in 1960 as the Historic Sites Foundation, which was authorized to receive and administer private funds for the benefit of the Wisconsin Historical Society, specifically for the promotion and operation of historic sites in Wisconsin. Around 1999 the name was changed to the Circus World Museum Foundation reflecting the actual scope of its interest. The records document the administration of the foundation and its work on behalf of the Society.
