Abstract:
Record of the assessed value and the amount of taxes levied against each parcel of real estate and every individual or business with taxable personal property. The tax roll typically gives a description of the property, the name of the owner, assessed valuation, tax levied, and a record of payments. Every tenth year All records prior to 1870 have been preserved. from 1870 to 1940 has been preserved, and every fifth year from 1945-1965 has been preserved. Holdings for 1940 are incomplete. Records are arranged by year and thereunder by property description for real estate and by the owner's name for personal property.
