Home movies by Loretta Young of her family and friends in California, Hawaii, and Mexico from 1940 to the early 1960s. Includes footage from Young's wedding to Tom Lewis in 1940 and their honeymoon in Mexico; Judy Lewis's wedding and reception to Joe Tinney in 1958; and footage from various vacations in Hawaii and Lake Arrowhead.

This collection consists of four 16 mm color reels of Loretta Young and family's home movies. Shot from approximately 1940 to the early 1960s the collection contains amateur footage of Loretta Young, her husband Tom Lewis (married from 1940 to 1969) and children including the couple's sons Christopher and Peter Lewis, and Judy Lewis, her daughter with Clark Gable.

Footage in this collection includes scenes from Young and Lewis's wedding and honeymoon in Mexico in 1940; Judy Lewis's wedding to Joe Tinney in 1958 and the couple's wedding reception at Young's estate; as well as footage from various family vacations to Hawaii and Lake Arrowhead. The overall visual quality of these home movies is very good with minor damage to the footage from 1940 on the first reel.

CB 828	[Loretta Young and Tom Lewis Wedding and Honeymoon], 1940 Scope and Content Note: Contains footage of Young and Lewis' 1940 wedding reception including shots of Young's maid of honor, Josie Wayne (John Wayne's first wife). Also included are scenes from the couple's honeymoon in Acapulco and Mexico City, Mexico.
CB 829	[Judy Lewis and Joe Tinney Wedding], 1958 Scope and Content Note: Footage of Judy Lewis and Joe Tinney's 1958 wedding. Reel consists of footage of before, during, and after the wedding including scenes from the reception likely at Young's estate. Loretta Young, Tom Lewis, and Young's mother are included in the footage.
CB 830	[Family Vacation-Hawaii], circa 1960 Scope and Content Note: Footage largely consisting of a family trip to Hawaii in the early 1960s. The beginning of the reel contains footage of Peter Lewis and a very pregnant Judy Lewis practicing snorkeling and swimming in a pool. Also included are various scenes of the family in Hawaii.
