The general file consists mostly of correspondence written or received by superintendent of schools, James Donovan, and reports collected from the school districts in Brown County. The correspondence and reports cover such topics as teacher applications, benefits and payroll deductions, school district evaluations for financial aids, curriculum development, transportation of pupils, legal interpretations, etc.
