Abstract:
Correspondence and forms from the Worker's Compensation Division, relating to workmen's compensation insurance. The correspondence consists of explanations and interpretations of Wisconsin laws, both in general and with regard to specific employment situations. Some correspondence contains warnings of violations and notices of prosecution, reports of investigations into hours, wages, and working conditions (especially as pertains to women and children), and worker claims. Also included are non-election forms by which individual partners could waive their insurance coverage.

Note:

This series was deaccessioned and returned to the agency in 2002; in 2006 it was returned to the State Archives and reassigned to its previous series number (Series 1009).
