Abstract:
Expanding Your Horizons was founded by the University of Wisconsin-Madison chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon in 1959 as a one day workshop for high school girls to get involved in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math careers. In the 1980s, it became a day-long program for middle school girls, which is how it continues to function to this day. The records in this collection document the day to day business of the organization, and include photographs and recordings.
