Expanding Your Horizons was founded by
the University of Wisconsin-Madison chapter of Sigma Delta Epsilon in 1959 as a one day
workshop for high school girls to get involved in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math
careers. In the 1980s, it became a day-long program for middle school girls, which is how it
continues to function to this day. The records in this collection document the day to day
business of the organization, and include photographs and recordings. English .
