Abstract:
This collection includes the papers of 5 former Art History faculty and photographs, negatives, and an unfinished manuscript by photographer Eugene Casselman dating from 1940 to 2010. The faculty are as follows: Warren Moon, Professor of Classics and Art History; James (Jim) Dennis, Professor of Art History; Jane Campbell Hutchinson, Professor of Art History and expert on 15th through 17th century Northern European art; Robert Beetum, Professor of Eighteen, Nineteenth, and Twentieth Century European Art; and Narciso Menocal, Professor of Art History and expert on Louis Sullivan and Frank Lloyd Wright. The records include materials related to the courses they taught, their research interests, and professional activities. The types of materials include correspondence, conference materials, exhibit descriptions, syllabi, fliers, clippings, photographs, sketches, notes, reports, and negatives.
