Kenneth L. Greenquist was a Racine attorney and civic leader who served as president of the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents. This collection is comprised of news clippings regarding Greenquist’s congressional campaign and his time on the University of Wisconsin Board of Regents, records of his military service, speeches, and letters between Greenquist and Francis H. Wendt.

Biography/History

Kenneth L. Greenquist was a Racine attorney and civic leader who served as president of the University Of Wisconsin Board Of Regents. He was a graduate of Racine High School, attended the University of Kentucky, and graduated from the law school of the University of Wisconsin in 1936. Greenquist Hall at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside was named for Mr. Greenquist.

The collection consists news clippings regarding Greenquist’s Congressional Campaign and the UW-Board of Regents, records of his U.S. military service (1943-1946), miscellaneous speeches (1950, 1963-1964), and letters between Greenquist and Francis H. Wendt (1936-1945).
