This collection contains historical and political buttons from the Kenosha, Wisconsin area. The buttons consist of American Motor Corporation (AMC) promotions, United Automobile Workers (UAW) local, state, and national campaigns. There is also an employee badge, a steward button, and a tool check from Nash Motors.

Biography/History

The collection belonged to Thomas Harvill of Kenosha, Wisconsin. Harvill worked at American Motors Corporation from 1952-1986, during which time he served as a Steward and later, Chief Steward for United Automobile Workers UAW Local 72. He was politically active and became a member of the Democratic Party for part of his life.
