Abstract:
Photographs (both negatives and prints) mostly of Milwaukee from 1947 and 1948. Many of the images were taken at the Milwaukee lakefront. Of particular interest are the images of Milwaukee train stations that are no longer standing.

The processing archivist added the descriptive information contained within square brackets. Several images also had a later date on the print.

Arrangement of the Materials

Both the prints and negatives are arranged in serial number order. The serial numbers are Kunstbeck's original serial numbers, with the exception of A1, which the processing archivist assigned.

Acquisition Information

L.J. Kunstbeck donated the collection to the Archives in 1991 (accession 2000-009).


Processing Information

Christel Maass had prints made from negatives that did not have prints and processed the collection in August and November 2002.

In September 2011, Bob Jaeger removed 56 safety film negatives from the collection and placed them with other safety film negatives.
