Biography/History

Overseas Programs and Partnerships, located within the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Center for International Education, offers international student exchange programs as well as study abroad programs for faculty, students, and the public.

Scope and Content Note

The majority of the collection consists of program files for study abroad programs administered and/or coordinated by the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Overseas Programs and Partnerships from 2002 to 2004. Files largely contain promotional material, budgetary information, program itineraries, and course syllabi. The collection also includes program information and reports from 1970 to 2004 on the annual United Nations Seminar.

Arrangement of the Materials

This collection was received in, and is organized in, multiple parts. Additional materials have not been physically or intellectually arranged and interfiled, and researchers may need to consult more than one part of the collection to locate similar materials.

Acquisition Information

The Overseas Programs and Partnerships transferred the collection to the Archives in December 2007 (accession 2007-026). The Office of Overseas Programs and Partnerships donated additional materials in September 2010 (accession 2010-017).


Processing Information

Jody Hoks, supervised by Christel Maass, processed the collection in March 2008. Hayley Jackson updated the finding aid to include information about accession 2010-017 in August 2013.
