Abstract:

Collection contains miscellaneous records of the Milwaukee chapter of an organization formed as a voice speaking to and for the American academic community with respect to essential standards of professional life and behavior. Included are correspondence and meeting minutes. Most of the material is from the 1970s.

The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee chapter of the American Association of University Professors was formed in 1956 and remains active today.

The files are organized alphabetically by subject, then chronologically.

Acquisition Information

An unkown individual donated the collection to the Archives prior to 1989. Additional materials (box 3) were separated from David Luce's personal papers (accession 2007-014), donated to the Archives prior to December 2000.

Processing Information

Lawrence Koellner processed the collection at the Archives in March 1997. In August 2008 Lucy Waldrop, supervised by Christel Maass, processed the additions that were transferred to the Archives by David Luce.
