Abstract:
Miscellaneous correspondence largely from Leon Schur, the director, with off-campus individuals. The collection documents Center goals, meetings and speech preparation, workshops and activities, convention reports, reactions to programs, and also contains a proposal for the development of a college test of economic understanding.

Biography/History

The Center for Economic Education was created within the College of Letters & Science in the summer of 1964. Leon M. Schur, a professor of economics, has served as director of the center since 1964.
