Records of students enrolled in the graduate program from 1960
to 1998. The records consist of the permanent record cards (transcripts) of graduate
coursework earned at UWM. In addition, the collection contains original and reproduced
transcripts from the University Extension of the University of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin
State College, Milwaukee, which was a predecessor institution to UWM. English

Arrangement of the Materials
The files are organized into two series:
- Original accession, 1960-1987
- 1998 accession, 1988-1998
Within each series, the files are arranged alphabetically by personal name.

Administrative/Restriction Information
The collection is restricted as stipulated in UWM's Office of Student Life manual, Policies Concerning the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of
1974 (FERPA), sections vii-viii.
Three accessions were transferred to the Archives sometime before 1989. Accession
1998-012 was transferred in January 1998.
Theresa Larson, Jim Kusik, and Roselene Springer completed the processing of the
collection from November 1992 to January 1993. Mike Klawitter, Tim Spindler, and Jill
Cherny processed part of the collection from February to April 1992. Brad Houston
supervised the creation of a box inventory for accession 1998-012 in January 2008.
