Edward Buell Hungerford was born in 1900 and published mostly historical fiction
aimed at young adults.
Scope and Content Note
This collection consists of a 276 page draft manuscript for Edward Hungerford’s novel
Fighting Frigate. It is a historical fiction novel based on the U.S.S. Constitution’s involvement in the War of 1812, published
in 1947.
