Congregations Untied for Community Action (CUFCA) was founded in 1977 as an ecumenical organization of Milwaukee churches. It was made up of over a dozen local congregations that included Catholic and various Protestant churches. Goals of this organization were to improve living conditions for residents through community organizing, advocacy and empowerment.

This collection contains by-laws and mission statements, correspondence, event and program materials, financial records, meeting minutes and newsletters. The dates included range from 1982-1989.

The collection is arranged alphabetically by name or subject, then chronologically within each folder.

Donated by Frank Zeidler at an unknown date. Originally part of Zeidler's unprocessed personal papers, they were removed in 2019 to create a separate collection. Materials accessioned as Local History Manuscripts.
