Scope and Content Note
This collection includes correspondence, ordinances, newspaper clippings,
publications, reports, maps, and statistics. One of the larger subjects covered is
the licensing and constituent concerns over the adult entertainment establishments
‘Blue Canary’ and ‘Daddio's’. The proposed community benefit ordinance and
individual local developments is another large subject.
Other areas of focus are work with the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, police
response to automated building alarms, factors contributing to MMSD dumping, and the
implementation of cameras to curb red light running. The original subject headings
from aldermanic staff have been kept intact as much as possible.
Arrangement of the Materials
The collection is arranged alphabetically and then chronologically within each
folder.
