Abstract:
Photograph album containing images of memebers of the Verchota and Fuchsteiner families of La Crosse Wisconsin. Images date from the 1880s through 1890s. Included in the album are images of: Joseph J. Verchota, Mary Fuchsteiner Verchota, John Krismer, Mr. Sklinar, Mr. Spika, Gus Keller, Maggie Roth, Gert Roth, Jack Kubal, Emma Schelbel, Joseph Heyman, Mary Bott, and John Tronik. Most photographs are identified.

Biographical Note

Joseph J. Verchota lived 1873-1949, and served as mayor of La Crosse, Wisconsin. His wife, Mary Fuchsteiner, lived 1874-1954.
