Annually the state Bureau of Local Financial Assistance determines aids pursuant to Subchapter I, Chapter 79, Wis. Stats., which are paid to towns, villages, cities, and counties qualifying for shared revenues. The state shared revenue program provides no-strings-attached revenues to counties and tax districts. The distribution is made on the basis of populations, public utility values, and local purposes revenues. Adjustments are made to payments determined for tax districts and counties for levy limit violations and such others as provided by statute. English
