Abstract:
Mounted photographs from the Community Camera Project "Human Values and Public Priorities" exhibit, in which photographers from throughout Wisconsin were invited to interpret the theme human values at stake in public taxing and spending. Winning entries were exhibited. The contest, supported by the Wisconsin Humanities Committee, was completed in 1975. Included are images of suburban development, disappearing farm land, drug use, urban blight, environmental damage, and older and disabled people. In some cases, multiple photographs are mounted on single panels.
