Abstract: Records of the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence, 1977-1999, a membership organization of battered women, domestic abuse programs, and individuals committed to ending domestic violence. Founded as the Wisconsin Coalition Against Woman Abuse, it later became affiliated with the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence and, in 1986, changed its name to the Wisconsin Coalition Against Domestic Violence. The collection includes interviews with incarcerated women who were survivors of domestic abuse, training materials to educate law enforcement personnel and volunteers about domestic abuse, state and national conference materials, and other records reflecting the activities of the organization.
