The Judith Ladinsky papers document the scholarly and professional work of Professor Judith Ladinsky at the Department of Population Health Sciences in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School. Professor Ladinsky contributed work to the fields of cell biology and preventative medicine with particular respect to the availability of primary and preventative care to disadvantaged populations. Ladinsky was Chair of the Health Committee of the United States Committee for Scientific Cooperation with Vietnam and in that capacity made over one-hundred trips to Vietnam to distribute medical supplies, train medical professionals, and organize primary care in that country. The collection contains files related to Ladinsky's scholarly research, work for the Committee for Scientific Cooperation with Vietnam, correspondence, and published work, as well as a collection of public health posters from Vietnam.
