Biography/History

Land O'Lakes Sports was founded in Merton (Wis.) in 1922 by Martin C. Weber, who was the director from 1922-1952. The Land O'Lakes League was created to showcase hometown talent in Wisconsin and, as it grew, new divisions of the Land O'Lakes League were created in the late 1930s and early 1940s. The Land O'Rivers League was created as a quasi minor league to the more experienced Land O'Lakes League.
