The Hmong video collection consists of 44 productions that are dubbed into the Hmong
language. Thirty-five of these recordings are on VHS tape and nine exist as digital files
only. The content of the productions includes feature films and multi-part series originally
from China, Thailand, and India. The tapes were gathered from Hmong community members for an
exhibition titled "Cia Siab in Wisconsin: A Hmoob Story,"
in Oshkosh, Wisconsin which was curated by a group of volunteers aiming to document the
Hmong experience in Wisconsin through objects.
