Photographs in the collection include individual and group portraits of various sizes, some retouched with hand colorizing, and arranged alphabetically. Also included is the work the Glanders did for their commercial clients including Mirro Aluminum, Heresite Chemical, Rahr Malting, and the shipbuilding industries of Manitowoc. The photographs also document the city's many civic and musical groups and the changes in the character of the community during the time the Studio was in operation. The few studio records in the collection include photocopies of some of the studio’s photographs and its advertising. Also included are biographical papers including a handwritten diary of John A. Glander, personal correspondence, and the military records of Henry J. Glander.
