A few letters of purely family interest were returned to Mrs. Fladoes, and some correspondence of Mrs. Alexander Mitchell concerning the Mt. Vernon Association were turned over to Mrs. L. C. Hanks of Madison, regent of the Mt. Vernon Association. One item was presented by John Johnston, place and date unknown.
