There are no access restrictions on the materials, and the collection is open to all
members of the public in accordance with state law.
The researcher assumes full responsibility for conforming with the laws of libel,
privacy, and copyright which may be involved in the use of this collection (Wisconsin
Statutes 19.21-19.39).
An anonymous donor presented the Milwaukee Public Library (MPL) with 23 boxes of Kuryer
material in 1962. According to the Internal Revenue Service inventory of the Kuryer
Publishing Company, the IRS auctioned 57 boxes of material to an undisclosed purchaser.
Consequently, this collection is but a segment of the total material. The call number for
the collection while at the MPL was Manuscript Collection 27. The MPL physically
transferred the collection to the Golda Meir Library for processing on 1 September 1990.
The MPL transferred ownership of the collection to the Golda Meir Library on 13 August
1993.
A grant from the Polish National Congress permitted Robert Mink to process the collection
at the UWM Libraries between September 1990 and August 1991.
