The Cultures and Communities Program strives to bring UWM and the Milwaukee community
closer together through community-based learning, partnerships, and scholarship. The
program offers an opportunity for students to go into the community and work
alongside people from different backgrounds, promoting cross-cultural understanding.
Through its grant programs, such as the Community/University Partnership Grant,
Cultures and Communities supports community-based research.
