The collection consists of records relating to conferences and classes offered by the UWM
College of Nursing's Continuing Education and Outreach Program and attended by health care
professionals across Wisconsin. Class and conference offerings covered a variety of subjects
relating to the nursing profession, including clinical skills updates and workshops on
successful nurse management.
The records mainly consist of conference and class brochures, agendas, and evaluation
summaries. The collection also includes audio cassettes and videocassettes for
distance-based classes on pharmacology and on the health needs of minority populations.
