Records, 1966-1994, of Julian Chazin, Air Monitoring Unit Leader and Section Chief pertaining to his work for the Department of Natural Resources. Well documented is Chazin's research and writings related to acid rain, mercury, and the pulp and paper industry. His collaboration with the Swedish Environmental Research Institute on acid rain and mercury deposition is also included. The collection also contains 154 slides showing machinery, various tests including those for air management and air monitoring, workers, graphs and figures with labels such as “air cycle,” “greenhouse effect,” and “nitrogen cycle,” as well as ozone aircraft.
